The seal of James III of Scotland on a 1482 document, confirming the sale of part of the Balnaboth Estate to an Ogilvy ancestor Balnaboth House. The Wing is to the far left of the picture
The grandest and most spacious of our properties. It is the first floor of the attractive Georgian Wing of Balnaboth House

Centrally heated, fully carpeted, warm and very comfortable. 2 bathrooms, shower and sauna.

Balnaboth mansion itself was originally 4 houses, and these were joined together in the 18th century, then "modernised" and enlarged in 1825. The appearance of the house has changed little since that date and it retains much of the charm and elegance of a bygone age. The gardens are mostly lawns and beautiful mature trees - another legacy from the Victorians - as are the little bridges over the Logie burn which tumbles into the Prosen at the bottom of the lawn.

Sitting room with open fire & views out over the Logie burn, the sofa converts to a double bed; kitchen/Dining room (seating 8); Principal bedroom (double bed); twin bedroom with 2 single beds; Bunk bedroom with full size (3') bunk beds. 2 bathrooms, each with bath & W.C, & shower over bath in one. Sauna below.
