| Balnaboth
mansion itself was originally 4 houses, and these were joined together in the 18th
century, then "modernised" and enlarged in 1825. The appearance of the house has
changed little since that date and it retains much of the charm and elegance of a bygone
age. The gardens are mostly lawns and beautiful mature trees - another legacy from the
Victorians - as are the little bridges over the Logie burn which tumbles into the Prosen
at the bottom of the lawn. |
